CSI University is a new initiative for all employees of Canadian Solar, to learn about all the different departments and areas of the company.
My goal for the branding was to keep it modern and fresh, while remaining within the design guidelines.
Having strict guidelines and in this case a simplified one, really pushed me to work on a monogram that would stay true to the brand, and still carry a new approach.
The initial idea was to use something familiar within Canadian Solar’s logo, in this case the sun rays, and adjusting it to imitate a book opening, as well as forming the letter “U” for University.
